Author Guidelines
General Provisions
The electronic peer-reviewed academic journal Coordinates of Public Administration accepts original research articles that have not been previously published and are not under consideration by other journals. Submissions must comply with the journal’s thematic scope, editorial standards, and principles of academic integrity.
Manuscripts must address relevant issues in public administration and governance, present independent research results, demonstrate sound theoretical and methodological grounding, include a reliable reference base, and provide scientifically substantiated conclusions.
Single-authored articles submitted by PhD candidates (third-cycle students) are accepted for publication free of charge, provided that all editorial and ethical requirements are met.
Student submissions are accepted only in co-authorship with a scientific supervisor.
No more than one article per author (or co-author) may be published in a single issue.
Submission Procedure
Manuscripts must be submitted electronically in Microsoft Word format (*.doc, *.docx, or *.rtf) together with author information.
Submissions should be sent to: kpu@nung.edu.ua.
In multi-author papers, a corresponding author must be designated.
File naming format:
– Surname Initials_article;
– Surname Initials_certificate.
Editorial Review Process
Upon submission, manuscripts undergo:
– initial screening for relevance to the journal’s scope;
– technical compliance check;
– academic integrity verification;
– peer review;
– editorial decision (accept, revise, reject).
The Editorial Board reserves the right to request revisions, conduct additional reviews, or reject manuscripts that do not meet the requirements.
Structure of the Article
Manuscripts must include:
– UDC classification index, placed on a separate line in the upper left corner;
– author name(s) (e.g., Ivan PETRYSHYN);
– affiliation (position, institution, academic degree, title);
– ORCID ID;
– © author name(s) (italicized);
– article title (uppercase);
– abstract and keywords (minimum 1800 characters);
– introduction/problem statement;
– literature review;
– purpose of the study;
– main body;
– CONCLUSIONS;
– REFERENCES;
– submission, acceptance, and publication dates.
Formatting Requirements
– page size: A4;
– margins: left 3.5 cm, right 1.5 cm, top/bottom 2.5 cm;
– font: Times New Roman, 14 pt;
– line spacing: 1.5;
– alignment: justified;
– orientation: portrait;
– pages must not be numbered.
Scanned images or photographs of tables/figures are not permitted.
References and Citations
In-text citations should be indicated in square brackets, e.g.: [10, p. 16].
The reference list must comply with DSTU 8302:2015.
Each entry:
– begins on a new line;
– includes DOI (if available) or URL;
– must be accurate and verifiable.
An English-language REFERENCES section must follow the original list.
Language and Style
Manuscripts must be written in clear academic language (Ukrainian or English).
Use of machine translation without professional editing is not acceptable.
The text must be logically structured, terminologically precise, and stylistically consistent.
Restrictions on Sources
The use of sources is discouraged if they:
– originate from aggressor states;
– were published in occupied territories during occupation;
– are produced by state institutions of aggressor states;
– are associated with propaganda.
Such sources may be used only when critically justified.
Submission Requirements
By submitting a manuscript, authors confirm that:
– the work is original and not under review elsewhere;
– the file is in Microsoft Word format;
– all hyperlinks are valid and complete;
– formatting complies with journal requirements;
– figures and tables are embedded within the text;
– the manuscript meets academic writing and referencing standards.
Submission implies acceptance of editorial and peer-review procedures and adherence to academic integrity principles.
Author Responsibilities
Authors are responsible for:
– originality of the manuscript;
– accuracy of data and facts;
– correctness of citations;
– legality of using third-party materials;
– absence of plagiarism, fabrication, or falsification;
– compliance with open publication standards.
Editorial Responsibility
The Editorial Board is not responsible for the content of published articles and may not share the authors’ views.
Published materials reflect solely the position of the author(s). Responsibility for the validity and integrity of the research lies entirely with the author(s).
