POLITICAL MANAGEMENT AND CONSULTING IN THE SYSTEM OF POLITICAL CONFLICT RESOLUTION

Abstract

The article examines the complex role played by political management and political consulting in the system of political conflict resolution, which are considered as a natural form of social interaction and an integral part of the struggle for power. It is methodologically substantiated that competent conflict management allows transforming spontaneous confrontation into an effective tool for the renewal of elites and constructive social progress. The author notes that political management provides strategic planning, targeted influence on the situation, structuring chaos and further institutionalization of contradictions. At the same time, political consulting focuses on technological and intellectual support, conducts a conflict audit to identify the real interests of players and helps to deconstruct false cognitive images of participants. It is proven that political decisions in times of crisis require overcoming the trap of «groupthink» and the use of iterative monitoring models. The negotiation process is considered as the crown of managerial efforts, where integrative approaches of the Harvard School are applied, the zone of possible agreement (ZOPA) is expanded and the best alternatives (BATNA) are carefully worked out. The emphasis is on the modern transition from force methods to «dialogical management» taking into account the latest challenges of digitalization, the use of Big Data for micro-targeted analysis and the associated ethical dilemmas. Considerable attention is paid to the stage of post-conflict conflict resolution, where the compromises reached are consolidated through the development of implementation «road maps», verification mechanisms and legal institutionalization. In conclusion, it is emphasized that it is the synergy of the organizational discipline of management and the analytical depth of consulting that transforms conflict from a fatal threat into a manageable mechanism of social transformation.
