EDUCATIONAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL LOSSES IN INSTITUTIONS OF EDUCATION: ESSENCE, CAUSES, CONSEQUENCES AND WAYS OF OVERCOMING IN THE CONDITIONS OF WAR

The article examines the problems of educational and psychological losses in educational institutions of Ukraine, their essence, causes, consequences and ways to overcome them in the conditions of the long Russian-Ukrainian war; attention is focused on the fact that the topic of educational losses has gained wide resonance in the educational environment, as evidenced by a significant number of scientific publications in professional journals; it is shown that in the conditions of war, students have limited access to the educational process, suffer from post-traumatic syndrome, experience a decrease in motivation and cognitive processes, may be in dangerous conditions or in forced evacuation, where learning is quite difficult; It is convincingly proven that the restoration of the educational process in full-time or mixed education institutions in the conditions of war is extremely important, since education is a process that gives students a certain support, a sense of stability and security, and at the same time, preserving the education of students is a guarantee of the future sustainable development of our country. That is why nowadays, despite the difficult conditions of the war, it is important to support and try to improve the quality of education; attention is drawn to the fact that this problem is not limited to institutions only – it has significant consequences for the revival of the national economy and Ukrainian society in general, since educational losses negatively affect the level of education of those who receive education, which can lead to a decrease in their competitiveness on the labor market; it has been proven that it is important not only to study and measure educational losses, but also to actively seek effective methods of their minimization and compensation; it is shown that in order to reduce and, in the future, overcome educational losses, it is necessary to ensure the access of education seekers to technologies, the provision of the necessary equipment and access to the Internet; recommendations are given to state authorities and local self-government bodies, founders of educational institutions, and educational institutions themselves regarding overcoming educational and psychological losses.
